Field visits play a vital role in enriching
students' educational experiences, enhancing their skills, and preparing them
for future academic and professional endeavours. Seeing real-world applications
of their studies during field visits can inspire students and motivate them to
excel academically and pursue their career goals with renewed enthusiasm. Field
visits help students contextualize their learning by bridging the gap between
theory and practice. They gain a better understanding of how concepts and
theories are implemented in real-life settings, making their education more
meaningful and relevant.
The Department of Commerce organized a field visit
to the Ram Reddy Rice and Groundnut Mill located in Nagavaram, Wanaparthy,
on April 18, 2023, for final year and second year B.Com students.
During the field visit, under the guidance of
Commerce faculty D. Haleema Begum,T.Shashikala and P.Radhika students had the
opportunity to observe various processes at the Ram Reddy Rice and Groundnut
Mill, including the peeling of groundnuts and paddy, grading, and separating.
With curiosity, students posed
numerous questions to the proprietor about various aspects of the mill's
operations, including the work processes, the workers' roles, material
collection methods, marketing strategies, sales channels, client relationships,
capital investment, and more. The proprietor graciously
addressed all the questions posed by the students and extended well wishes to
them all.
The students found the information
provided during the visit to be valuable, and they were able to draw
connections between the concepts discussed and their subjects such as cost
accounting and financial accounting.

ZOOLOGY DEPARTMENT FIELD TRIPS :
College of Fishery
Science is situated at Pebbair, Wanaparthy (Dist). This is the first Fishery
College in Telangana state established in 2017.
In this regard we Department of zoology arranged educational tour for the students of BSc (Batch-2017)on 13Feb 2020,along with faculty. The purpose of the visit is to promote a greater understanding of the biological, technical & economic importance of Fisheries & related areas.
